About Count Jeff

Count Jeff is a web comedy series from creators Matthew Hsu & Chad Rocco. It stars Adam Busch (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, American Dreamz), Jason Rogel (Community, Splinterheads), Becky O’Donohue (Fast & Furious, CSI:Miami), and Amber Benson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Strictly Sexual).

Format

Count Jeff is a series of short comic webisodes. Each episode opens with a brief teaser before entering the horrifyingly real world of Jeff, who is anything but the frightening-yet-sexy vampires we have seen in movies, comics, and steamy romance novels. Jeff’s adventures take him all over town as he tries to navigate the challenges of his new life. Simple things he always took for granted – like eating and sleeping – suddenly become overwhelming, not to mention the toll his new situation has taken on his relationships. Short flashbacks fill in the blanks regarding Jeff’s struggles since his transformation. With an emphasis on the funny and absurdly ordinary, Count Jeff seeks to answer the age old dilemma:  Do I really want to live forever?  And, if so, does that mean I’ll never be free of these student loans?
